Welcome to the website of English Language Faculty of Engineering, Technical University of Sofia. The Faculty provides access to education and research opportunities that reflect the expertise and interests of approximately 70 full-time academic staff from Technical University Sofia. Established in 1992,English Language Faculty of Engineering is dedicated to high quality teaching and research. The students can apply to our BEng course in INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING or the 1.5-year MEng courses in INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING, BUSINESS COMPUTING (in collaboration with University of Westminster, UK) and E-MANAGEMENT (in cooperation with Hellenic American University, Greece) all taught in English.

The Faculty recognizes that, within the modern environment, it is unlikely that any engineer will operate in a discipline-specific vacuum and he or she will interact at an interdisciplinary level much more frequently and significantly than was historically the case. The long-established major disciplines of Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic have now been supplemented with many subspecialties, such as Measurement System, Materials Engineering. These diverse disciplines have many basic principles in common and graduates from apparently very different courses often end up doing very similar jobs in later life.
